Biography Vincent de Moor

One of the protagonists in the Dutch dance scene.

1993 - 1995

De Moor, or Fix to Fax as he is then called, releases his first trance tracks on the Laser Squad. Under the names Sidewalk and M. Theatre De Moor releases some tracks on the Combined Forces label. One of De Moor's other tracks is released on the Taste label.

Systematic, which is released under the name Vincent de Moor, is included on several British compilation albums. De Moor remixes several tracks for Ariel, Convert, Little Jam, MTF, De Bos and V-tracks.

Flowtation released through XL Recordings, reaches number 54 in the British charts.

The single Orion City is topping the British charts. Not long after De Moor releases his first album, which is also called Orion City.

De Moor starts working with Ferry Corsten (system F) under the name Veracocha. In October De Moor is nominated best producer by the British magazine Muzik. He still refuses to perform live. At the end of the year he releases his first video.

De Moor's second album is simply called Moor and is released worldwide. At the end of the year the song Fly Away, the third single to be taken from the album, enters the playlist of BBC Radio 1. The song reaches number 11 in the British dance chart Coolcuts.

The single Fly Away is officially released in the Netherlands.

For 2002 De Moor plans a remix of his 1997 hit Flowtation. The title of the record, which should come out in the spring, is Flowtation 2002.

2003 - 2005

Every now and again De Moor's latest project Questia releases EP's on the A State Of Trance label, starting in 2003. Together with René Merkelbach he produces the 12" Birth Of Light under the V-Lock guise. As VDM, Flashbang and Raster he releases trance tracks.
