Cynthie van Eijden (1970 - Rotterdam) studied piano at the conservatories of Amsterdam and Rotterdam with Ronald Brautigam and Ludmilla Baslavskaya. From 1992 to 1995 she studied composition with Peter-Jan Wagemans at the Rotterdam Conservatory and from 1995 to 1998 with Louis Andriessen at the Royal Consevatory in The Hague.

Cynthie van Eijden (1970 - Rotterdam) studied piano at the conservatories of Amsterdam and Rotterdam with Ronald Brautigam and Ludmilla Baslavskaya. From 1992 to 1995 she studied composition with Peter-Jan Wagemans at the Rotterdam Conservatory and from 1995 to 1998 with Louis Andriessen at the Royal Consevatory in The Hague. In 1996, she took part in the international dance course for professional choreographers and composers in the United Kingdom. From 1998 to 2001 she studied music theory with Wolfgang Rihm in Karlsruhe.
2003 - 2010
Cynthie van Eijden studies music theory from 2002 to 2008 at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. From 2009 she teaches piano and composition at the Hochschule für Musik Köln (dept. Aachen).
