Biography The Riats

The Riats are Nederbeat Group from The Hague that play mostly covers and instrumental tunes. Their most notable covers are Sunday Morning and Run Run Run in 1967 from the cult band Velvet Underground (from the album with the banana by Andy Warhol). The U.S. band is very obscure in their own country at that time, their recognition will come later. The Riats are the first European band who releases covers by them and probably even the first band ever.
