One of the most professional and loud hardrock groups of the Netherlands that was also successful in the US in the late '80s.

1987

Sleeze Beez Drummer Jan Koster, guitarist Chris van Jaarsveld and Belgian singer Tigo 'Tiger' Fawzi record several songs together. They are not a real band yet.

1988

Tigo is replaced by Thijs Hamelaers (ex-Seducer).

1989

Frontman Andrew Elt of Gin On The Rocks joins the group. They start recordings for Screwed Blued & Tattooed, and sign to Atlantic America.

1990

Screwed Blued & Tattooed is released in the US and the single Stranger Than Paradise enters the charts. The Beeze support Skid Row.

1991

With Ron Bloom Sleez Beez start pre-production for a new album. But while they should be in the studio, the group spends most of its time by the side of their LA pool.

1992

The Beez decide to go to the UK to record Powertool with Gary Lyons. Because of the up-and-coming grunge movement Atlantic decides to put off the release until January 1993.

1993

Powertool comes out and makes the band sound like Def Leppard's heavier brother. Which is not so strange because their manager is the brother of Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen. Unfortunately, the album is a flop.

1994

Sleeze Beez tries to negotiate distribution deals in various countries, but the band encounters heavy musical head winds.

1995

Sleeze Beez Sleeze Beez goes to Japan. They record the CD Live In Tokyo, which is also released in the Netherlands. A European promotional tour has to be cancelled because drummer Jan Koster has injured his wrist.

1996

The new dates are also cancelled and Koster quits. He forms the punk pop band Jetland with Jongsma and Van Jaarsveld. Later in the year they release their debut CD Flowers For Wendy.

1997

Andrew Elt is involved in The Project.

1998

Elt and Sleeze Beez guitarist Spall are part of The Moon. The band releases its debut album on Surgeland Records.

2000

Jan Koster writes most of the songs for Dilana Smith's debut album Wonderfool. He is also her producer and runs her management. Don van Spall quits The Moon and is replaced by Daniel Verberk
