Rotterdam Termination Source is the producing duo Maurice Steenbergen and Danny Scholte from Rotterdam, that scores an international hit record in 1992 with the track Poing!.

1991

Rotterdam Termination Source is formed and a first demo version of Poing! is recorded.

1992

The single Poing! is released and shoots to number 2 in the Dutch charts. 2 Unlimited producer Phil de Wilde says in an interview with a Dutch weekly that the beats from Poing! inspired him to record the even bigger hit single No Limits.

1993

Maurice Steenbergen and DJ Paul Elstak mix the album Mix The House Volume 2 for EVA Records.

1994

Steenbergen and Scholte are invited by Rick Rubin to come to Los Angeles for a demo and a possible deal in the States. Unfortunately, the deal falls through.

1995 - 1998

Maurice meets Chuck D from legendary rap group Public Enemy. The Poing! '98 club mix by De Bos and Mark van Dale enters Pete Tong's playlist in Britain.

1999

Maurice Steenbergen makes his debut as mixmaster for Veronica FM radio with his year mix 1999.

2000

Steenbergen records the year mix 2000 for Veronica FM. He also starts working as DJ/producer for this radio station.

2001

The group works on Devnull's debut album. They also record a Devnull Rock Remix from the Public Enemy track Shut 'Em Down, which hasn't been released as yet.
