Melodic pop/rock band that makes a very successful debut in 2002 with the album 'All in Hand'.
Long-time friends Ad van Halsteren and Martijn Hagens meet drummer Bart Herber and form Rosemary's Sons in the autumn of 1998.
Keyboard player Thomas Lina joins the band. Their self-released debut CD 'Misery Loves Company' attracts the attention of several record companies.
Rosemary's Sons sign to Warner Music. They start recordings for the album All In Hand. The single Fall From Grace, which is released in August, gets a lot of airplay. The band plays at the Lowlands festival and later in the year at Pepsi Pop. In the autumn Rosemary's Sons is joined by guitarist Maarten van Damme. In December the band takes part in the alter@tour together with Zita Swoon and Beef!. They are also support act for The Cranberries in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.

In January Rosemary's Sons can be seen at the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in Groningen. All In Hand is released in April. The album contains twelve catchy pop/rock à la Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp. All In Hand gets overall good reviews and enters the Album Top 100. The single Shine (with guest vocalist Ilse DeLange) gets a lot of airplay on both radio and TV. The band tours the Dutch clubs and several summer festivals. In June it is announced that Rosemary's Sons will be awarded an Essent Award. Mid-June the band releases its second single, a ballad called Up All Night.

Rosemary's Sons are nominated for an Edison Award in the category Best New Band in 2002. As of May the band supports Ilse DeLange on her Clean Up tour.
Due to financial cuts up to 20%, Warner Music Benelux is not only forced to make various staffers redundant, but also to delete its entire local roster, including Rosemary's Sons. Despite this bad luck, the band continues working on its new album.
On April 11 V2 releases the eagerly anticipated, Oscar Holleman-produced third album St Eleanor's Park. Guitarist Maarten van Damme also plays in the bands Benkhof and Dearhunter.

Rosemary's Sons works on a new album in this period. The song How About It is already getting some airplay at a local station. The band signs a recording deal with CNR Entertainment. One month later Rosemary's Sons is support act for Stevie Ann: on 6 November in 013 in Tilburg and on 8 November in Paradiso Amsterdam. Drummer Maarten van Damme is also the drummer in Stevie Ann's band.
Stevie Ann can be heard on the track Perfect off the album Home Sweet Home. JW Roy sings along on the tracks Thin Line and Mary-Ann. The album presentation takes place on 10 April at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. On Home Sweet Home the band returns to its American rootsrock sound.
