De la Rue is the favourite composer of Marguerite of Austria. He writes 30-plus parody, paraphrase and requiem Masses, about 30 motets, settings of the Magnificat, settings of the Lamentations, 2 Kyries, 5 Credos, 3 Marian antiphons, ca. 46 chansons, 22 of them attributed to De la Rue, and Dutch songs.
