He had two of his works premiered by the University of Plymouth Symphony Orchestra and part of his Sonata for Strings was played by the Campinas Youth Orchestra in August of 2006 in Brazil. In 2006 Igor started his undergraduate studies at the University of Campinas. There he studied composition under Jônatas Manzolli and Denise Garcia. He has conducted the Nazarene Philharmonic Orchestra (Brazil) in 2006. Still in 2006, he was admitted to the bachelor course of composition in the Royal Conservatoire (Den Haag - Netherlands) where he is currently studying under Diderik Wagenaar and Cornelis de Bondt.
