1991
After starting out in the 'gabber' scene, Corsten begins producing trance music.
1996
Under the name Moonman Corsten releases the single Don't Be Afraid (Of The Power), which reaches number 46 in the UK charts.
1998
Under the a.k.a. Pulp Victim Corsten releases the track The World. Corsten also starts his own label: Tsunami. He produces several mixes for people like F-Action.
1999
Again as Moonman Corsten releases a remix of The World, which does very well in the UK. Other names he uses are Zenithal, Sidewalk, Sidewinder, Wosh, Project Aurora, 2HD and Free Inside. Corsten starts his second label, Polar State and releases the single Out Of The Blue, which does fairly well in the Dutch Mega Top 100 and enters the UK top 20. With Vincent de Moor Corsten releases the single Carte Blanche, under the a.k.a. Veracocha. Together with DJ Tiësto he releases Gouryella, which reaches number 15 in the UK charts. During the summer Corsten plays in Ibiza, Israel and Scandinavia. The first system F album is in the making, but will not be released until 2001. The single Piece of Mind is released and in October Ferry Corsten is awarded Best Producer by the readers of dance magazine Muzik. Corsten is also involved in the UK Trance Nation compilations.

On February 23 Corsten is awarded the Zilveren ('Silver') Harp Music Award. He works as remixer for William Orbit, Moby and U2. At the Dancestar 2000 Awards in the UK, Corsten is nominated in the categories Best Producer and Best Remix, both for a remix of William Orbit's Adagio For Strings.
2001
On March 26 Out Of The Blue, the new album by system F is released. Vocals on the single Soul On Soul belong to Marc Almond from Soft Cell. The DJ-set Ferry Corsten played at this year's Dance Valley festival is released on CD. At the Amsterdam Dance Event in October he receives a gold record for the Dance Valley Theme 2001.

Music television stations in the Netherlands air the video of Punk. For US label Moonshine he cuts the remix album Global Trancemissions. Tokyo is the first release in the CD/DVD series World Tour. It contains a DJ mix, the video of the single Punk and recordings of a gig in Tokyo. In the summer Needlejuice, the new system F. single comes out. Ferry Corsten and John Ewbank record the single Ligaya, which is released worldwide in October under the name Gouryella. Gouryella's debut album is scheduled for release the second half of 2003.

Ferry Corsten is nominated for a DanceStar Award USA. He plays a DJ set at club Glow in Washington DC every two months. His second CD in the World Tour series is called World Tour Washington. He records a new mix album in club Spundae in Los Angeles. Mixed Live: Ferry Corsten: Spundae Los Angeles, contains a DVD with a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound version of the mix and a short documentary about Ferry Corsten. The album is released in the US in July. Ferry Corsten has his own radio show on ID&T radio. On October 25 the DJ plays a seven-hour set to celebrate the release of his album Right Of Way.

Compilation Mixed Live: Spundae@Circus, Los Angeles is nominated by the American Dance Music Academy for a USA Dancestar Award in the category Best Compilation. Corsten is also nominated in the category Best International DJ. In February Ferry Corsten enters the UK Single Charts Top 40 with the track Rock Your Body at 11. Thus he breaks a Dutch record: he happens to be the first Dutch producer who has had eight UK chart hits with various projects. In March Corsten travels to the US and Canada in support of his latest album Right Of Way. For a TMF Award the DJ/producer is nominated in the categories Best Dutch DJ and Best Video (directed by Jeroen Hofs aka Eboman). In May the single It's Time comes out. Remixes are provided by the likes of Agnelli & Nelson, Luke Slater and Kai Tracid. Based on votes by its readers, leading UK dance publication DJ Magazine puts together a list of the world's Best DJ's. Corsten reaches fifth place.

In March he launches his new L.E.F. (Loud Electronic Ferocious) shows in Amsterdam's Panama club. Late August Ferry Corsten plays Dubai for the first time. Corsten also makes a remix of Marco Borsato's hit single De Bestemming. During the annual DJ Awards ceremony in club Pacha on Ibiza late September is declared Best Trance DJ. The hit single Fire features the vocals of Duran Duran vocalist Simon LeBon. Corsten celebrates his 32nd birthday in December with shows in New York and Los Angeles. During New Year he plays to shows in the UK, in Birmingham and London.
2006
In January and February the DJ plays shows in New York, Los Angeles, Taipei, London, Portrush, Prague and Bucharest. Ferry Corsten also mixes the free CD that comes with the March edition of UK dance magazine Mixmag. In March and April several remixes of the song Whatever are released on 12" with vocal contributions by Esmee Bor Stotijn and remixes by Marcel Woods, Coburn, Oliver Shine, Bellatrax and Redd Square. Whatever contains elements from the song Blah, Blah, Blah by Kevin Hunter and Bill Lefler, a producers duo that works for music production company GMW Entertainment owned by William Haighton (VAN Records), Ged Malone and Martin Hanlin. His new album L.E.F. contains contributions by Simon Le Bon (on the track Fire), Howard Jones and Guru (on the single Junk). On May 26 Corsten presents his album L.E.F. (Loud Electronic Ferocious) in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam. He plays an 8-hour show featuring several people he has worked with in the past. Corsten remixes the title song of US TV hit series Prison Break and songs for Japanese popstar Ami Suzuki. The DJ performs in Brazil, the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Mexico, Israel, Malta, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania, Cyprus and in the Netherlands (Sensation White and Dance Valley with his own L.E.F. stage). On July 22 Ferry Corsten @ The Park takes place next to Rotterdam's Euromast. From June 29 - August 24 Corsten spins every Thursday at Cream in Amnesia club in Ibiza. The album L.E.F. reaches the top slot in the US iTunes chart within two weeks. On August 12 the DJ is headliner at the Zürich Street Parade. On September 14 Corsten is the first-ever Dutch DJ in Bahrein. The next day he is at the Peppermint Club in Dubai. On September 27 'The Ferry Corsten L.E.F. Road To Voodoo Tour' starts in Phoenix, Arizona. On October 28 it ends in New Orleans at the Voodoo festival. Corsten performs there standing at the roof of his tour bus, straight after the show by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In the last weeks of the year Corsten travels to Asia for a tour through China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Japan. In Singapore he is headliner on the big stage of the ZoukOut festival. His track Daylight is ZoukOut '06's official song.
2007
The single Hurt Of Intention of German band Mind One is the 10th release on Corsten's own label Flashover Recordings. It contains a remix by the man himself. The B-side of the 12'' Insolation (February) by System F contains a remix by Dutch duo Left & Right. The single Beautiful (March) is written by Corsten with Ben Cullum (Jamie Cullum's brother) and singer Debra Andrew, who also gets the credits for vocals. On the B-side there's a remix by Paul Moelands alias Re:Locate. This trio also work together on the single Forever (April), released by Aleph Recordings. After his tour in Australia and New-Zealand, on March 31 Corsten performs at Sensation White in front of 15.000 punters in Antwerp's Sports Palace. The DJ/producer also comes up with the theme song: Loud Electronic Sensation, a special rendition of his track Loud Electronic Ferocious. With Marco V he is one of the DJs at Dancetour 2007, a free festival in nine Dutch cities this summer. The tour starts on April 30 (Queen's Day) in Dordrecht and ends on August 30 in Doetinchem. Dancetour supports KidsRights, of which Corsten is ambassador. He performs seven shows at the so-called Cream Nights in club Amnesia in Ibiza. Late May the mix album Passport: United States Of America comes out. The bonus DVD contains behind the scenes footage during the 2006 American tour and the video of the track Junk. In May the DJ plays in London and during Gatecrasher Syndicate in Bristol. One month later he returns to Britain for a set at Colourfest in Glasgow. A few days later follows a next North-American tour with shows in cities like Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Washington, New York, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles. In June Corsten launches, in collaboration with iKY Clothing, his own clothing line. The tour ends on 3 July in San Diego. After his set on Dance Valley on July, Ferry Corsten mixes the compilation Dance Valley 2007. The single The Race is the official anthem for Bavaria City Racing 2007 that takes place in the weekend of 17 August in Rotterdam. Corsten plays sets at the Cream Nights in club Amnesia on the Spanish island Ibiza. In period July-August he also plays sets in Hungary, Poland, England, Germany and Tunesia. In the Netherlands he plays at Dance Valley and FFWD Dance Parade. From July he can also be heard on the internet radiostation DI.fm with his weekly show Corsten's Countdown. During the tenth edition of the DJ Awards on Ibiza Corsten wins an award in the category Trance. Corsten plays the Ahoy' in Rotterdam on 27 October with his Full-On Ferry concert. The DJ/producer makes a remix of the track Bring The Noise by Public Enemy. The remix is released under the title Public Enemy vs Ferry Corsten - Bring The Noise.

Ferry Corsten and DJ Tiësto play a set together for the very first time on 24 May at the ETD POP Festival in San Francisco. The historic DJ collaboration gets a follow-up at Dance Valley in the Netherlands during Corsten's own Flashover Recordings Stage. Two of Corsten's remixes from 1999 of the U2 hit New Years Day are released in August on an extra CD with a special remastered edition of the U2 album War. On 16 August, Ferry Corsten is one of the headliners at the Sziget Festival in Hungary. Corsten's third album Twice In A Blue Moon comes out on 1 November and features the single Radio Crash. At the same dat the DJ/producer also plays the Ahoy' Rotterdam with a masked edition of Full On Ferry – The Masquerade.

2009
Ferry Corsten tours the world with his show Twice In A Blue Moon: The Experience. The tour kicks off on 29 May at the Putra World Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ferry Corsten plays club Amnesia, Ibiza no less than this summer. The DVD Backstage includes, besides a live registration of the event Full On Ferry, a 45 minute behinds the scenes documentary of Corsten's world tour.
