1991

As a teenager Erik Hofland performs under the name Gusty Varrego.

1992

Erik Hofland becomes Dyzack.

---

1993 - 1997

Dyzack performs on a regular basis in and around The Hague. In March 1996 his new demo becomes Demo of the Month in music magazine FRET.

1997

Dyzack is asked by the Dutch Rock & Pop Institute to record some songs for Characters, a CD out of the so-called Unsigned series.

1998

Dyzack plays at the Noorderslag festival and in September he goes into the studio to record his debut album.

1999

The Rat Dance Refizz is released in February and gets positive reviews from the critics. Later in the year Dyzack tours in Belgium and plays at the Lowlands festival.

2000

Dyzack writes the score for the Dutch film The Room, which stars Rutger Hauer. He receives a Zilveren ('Silver') Harp Music Award and is invited to play at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York. Dyzack also releases his second album Neurotic Jackpot.

2001

In the spring Dyzack supports Anouk on her AA Tour-Semi Acoustic-tour. In May he and his band go to America to perform at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis.

2004

In November Dyzack plays at Crossing Border.

2005

De guitarist finishes off his third album Somewhere There's A Monkey Laughing. His band consists of bassist Arie van Duyvenvoorde (Les Charmeurs) and drummer Detlef Tividor Willerius (Detlev Timm). Dyzack returns to a more blues and folk-oriented sound.
