Drippin' Honey records its debut album.
The band's full-length debut, Drip Drip, comes out. It contains not only the band's own material, but also songs by Willie Dixon. Drippin' Honey refers to bands like Red Devils and Paladins. They play a mixture of blues, bluesrock, rockabilly, twangy rock 'n' roll and easy tune. The group performs at the Lowlands and North Sea Jazz Festivals and also at the Luzerner Blues Sessions in Switzerland and the Belgian Rhythm & Blues Festival.
Drippin' Honey performs at the renowned South By South West Festival in Austin, Texas. The group's second album, Senorita, sprechen sie love?, is released in October.
Drippin' Honey plays at the Noorderslag festival. The single My Words My Eyes is released in June.
In April 2002 the album Love the Curse, with new band members Vincent Valster (keyboards) and Petra Appelman (guitar/vocals), is released. In August the band breaks up.
With producer Evert Kaatee Roland Luttik cuts the album Songs From A Lonely Room at Amsterdam's Y-Land studio. The nine-track album features self-penned material plus songs by Shane MacGowan and Leonard Cohen.
