Burma Shave is working on new material. Singer Paul Martin has taken over on bass after De Vos has left the band.
Despite personnel troubles and the fact that Burma Shave is without a recording deal the band keeps on going with a new line-up.
Former Grof Geschut drummer Thijn Teeuwissen joins the band. Teeuwissen is responsible for the samples and other sound effects. In the spring the band's new album is released, which is again produced by Michel Schoots.
In April Burma Shave is 20. Helped out by many of its peers, including Peter Te Bos (Claw Boys Claw), Rudeboy (League of XO Gentlemen), Henk Koorn (Hallo Venray), Dyzack, Rob Bolland (Bolland & Bolland), Boozy (NAOP), Laura Moerland (Kinkster) and Melle de Boer (Smutfish), it celebrates its 20th anniversary properly in the Hague's Paard club on June 17. Drummer Lennart Bes also joins the Leaves, the new band of Selwyn Slop (ex-Incense).
